I don't know if this will work or not as I am writing from my blackjack phone traveling down I 26 in South Carolina somewhere. ~ thought ~ I'd give it a try to see how it works. I'm not good at texting anyway, so journaling by this means is a challenge.

The trip thus far has been okay. Chad and the girls are following us. I wish Amy could have gotten tomorrow off, but she didn't. Skylar and Bree have been ANGELS! For such a long trip........and Bree has only cried once and that was when I wouldn't let her have my water bottle. I know, mean mee maw!

I felt as if I had walked or should I say driven into a waterpainting by God as I drove through the Smokey Mountains.........it always makes me realize how little I am.......a very humbling, yet inspirational feeling as I realize in my tiny meekness God knows me.

We stopped for gas as I was writing and my night was made. In the absence of Amy, I am on potty duty with Skylar and diaper duties with Bree. Skylar and I went in while Dell and Chad did the pumping gas thing. I bought some water fir the girls and I. I said something to Skylar like, "Give it to mee maw" and the girl behind the register said in her cute southern drawl, "Did you say mee maw?" I nodded my head yes and she said, "You look more like the mama." I think I needed that so very much in these times of questioning so many things............I felt as if she was an angekl telling me I'm beautifl and to be grateful in all things.

We're about 40 miles from our destination, and this has gottn long for a test! So much more to come.......
